Our Story
Lifelong California residents, Troy and Cheri Pryor, along with their children Cody, Nathan and Lindsay, moved to the Sacramento area in the fall of 1997. They have enjoyed calling Rosemont their home since 2001.
CAP's Pizza and Tap House is a tribute to Cody, who passed away on July 3, 2016. Every aspect of the restaurant was designed with Cody in mind, from the name (CAP – Cody Allen Pryor) to the rustic, casual décor and the fun environment. Cody was most happy when he was hanging out with friends and family. We know that we have built a place he would have been proud and excited about. We are equally excited to be in the Lakeview Community and look forward to serving you!

I LOVE Caps! Not only do they have an amazing beer selection both on tap and in cans but they also have GLUTEN FREE pizza which is so so amazing. They have regular pizza too obviously which also looks delicious. But if you're Celiac or gluten/wheat sensitive their gf pizza is amazing. The staff is super friendly and the pool table is FREE for patrons. They always have some event or another going on and their bathrooms are huge and have nice bright mirrors in there. Oh and their parking is MASSIVE. Don't sleep on Caps!

Caps is such a hidden gem! always forget about this place and then wonder why I don’t come here more often! The pizza is SO good… honestly, way better than The Graduate… sorry, not sorry 😅. The vibes are always super chill, the drinks never disappoint, and it’s just an all-around great spot. Definitely worth checking out!

This is our local hang out spot. Had a private party there 1000/10 service. Staff is amazing, beer variety is the best in town, pizza and sandwiches are sooo good. We always bring our friends and family here.

I love CAP’s! Great ambience and a lot of fun. Pool is free for paying customers which is fabulous. Hosting trivia nights, comedy nights, sip and paint nights, festive parties and private parties is a PLUS!
